How life change and how you can change the world

I find it is weird to be back to the old place.
The place that where I start everything..
The place that you believe can makes dream come true, then one fine day you make mistakes,

For them, you did not try hard enough,
For them it is so embarrassing, to say that I was one of their family..

So I gather all my strength to walk, to get up and to look in the sky again..

It was not a small journey..
It was full of telling myself that everything will be okay..
I gather my will to smile, and to believe, that the world is not the end,
For someday, it will be rainbow all over again....

For all the memories I made, I was ask to come back...
To pretend that it never happen, it was just a memory..
To someone, it was just something you get over with

For me, it was a learning to get up,to tell my heart to believe, that one day, it was not about me,
It was about my courage, to believe that for someone who is half blind, the world is such a happy place to lives in, and for that I will keep moving,
I will keep believing that the world will gives everything that I dream to be in this small world I live in :) Insyallah

Bukchon Hanok Village

040313 Part 2
Please see my previous entry here Day 2 Part 1.
So after having our lunch, we head to Bukchon Hanok Village. Its around 15 mins walk from Insadong.
And yes, there is also Namsangol Hanok Village near our Guesthouse , or actually just behind our building in Chungmuro Station, but I guess the impact of reality shows 2D1N and Personal Taste is just too great in bringing us here :)

Just a reminder, the place is so HUGE!!! You could spend 1/2 day there and there is actually 8 special spots to take amazing pictures which we try, but yeah, its also like going in a maze. All the houses looks the same and even some have the same number. So we just go with our gut and follows where the other tourist walks to.

we being so random :)

this is on 5th and 6th view :), when we walk up, there's a lot of people around, and when we arrived at the top, there was none!! lol, talk about bad timing to take picture. But I really love this shot :)

The so called, Personal Taste house..and yes, the tour guide in red uniforms brings us here..heee, thought they will think that we are crazy to try to find this house but  there was a couple of Japanese tourist that comes later after our photo sessions :)

After probably 2 hour or so we head back to our guesthouse to go to N Tower later in the evening.
the Winter Sonata School. It was close for public on weekdays..

We go out again to N Tower around 3 pm. There is actually many ways to go to N Tower, one is by bus, walk or cable car. As we do not want to tire ourself out, we think that cable car is the easiest way to go. You need to take Exit 4 in Myeondong station.Entah macam mana, mungkin kerana kawan dengan confidentnya dah pergi N Tower ni, I thought that she will know the way there, but alas, we lost our way ..sobs, but it was really funny and good exercise too..
Nana sleeping like a princess in stroller , while us pushing it like mad
After a good exercise and asking around a couple of people, we finally arrived at the cable car station. Not many people queuing  but it was funny that everyone is going into only 1 cable car. I thought it was like in Genting, where there will be 4 people at least in the cable car. So it was a little bit crowded and if you are lucky to be in front of the line, you can have the good view of Seoul .

After we arrived on the top of the hill, Nana was already fall asleep and there is no lift, hanya lah tangga. Menangislah budak kecil itu apabila dikejutkan. Dan terpaksa lah kami menempuhi drama menangis yang tak kesudahan, sehinggakan Teddy Bear musuem itu pun masuk tak sampai 10 minit kerana tangisan itu..

Nak tergelak pun ada, yelah, budak kecik selalu suka tgk teddy bear tpi, yg ini menangis mmg tak ingat dunia haha..but it was a good experience on and all.. yelah dah ada pengalaman menjaga sepupu yg berguling-guling di lantai bila nak sesuatu tu, so setakat menangis dlm stroller masih boleh bertahan lagi \ ^_^/..

Masuk dalam N Tower, we thought we are going to be there really quick since Nana could not stop crying, but thankfully there is a stuff animal shop and the staffs was really good in memujuk Nana untuk berhenti menangis, and after a while Nana was like her own self, macam buat2 lupa yang dia menangis dlm 30 min lepas tsk tsk, siap menyuruh kami menukar duit untuk lihat teropong  haha..

Well, seriously, at night, you cant really see anything up from the tower, probably some lights here and there, but its looks like a good picture session if you come in the daytime.

Selepas cuba jaya melihat apa yang ada, we go to our next plan~ Coffee Cojjee cafe own by Kim Jaejonng of JYJ.. since we thought we dont have time to look for subway station we just thought it is easier to go by taxi.  So much on saving our time that we have to pay 40,000 won for the taxi fare ~the highest taxi fare I ever paid in my life time ..huhu..the funny thing is we gave the address to the taxi driver, but initially he thought we just want to have coffee in Gangam area, until we told him that we want to go to Kim Jaejoong cafe, and he was like "oh, Kim Jaejoong-shi?? ahhhh ....'and laugh... :), hehs, so he knows JJ after all :)

the lock and so much love at N Tower that makes Nana impressed :)
We arrived quite late but there is still quite a number of fans in the cafe. We bought hot chocolate and just have a little break and took some pictures. We try to ask whether there is any stuffs that we can buy, but the staffs seems did not understand what we are trying to say, so we just give up. :(

Nana, Jaejoong most loyal fans :)
For people who wants to know, Coffee Cojjee is near to Apgujueongrodeo Station. And probably 15 min walk, but it was tricky as it was not really along the main road, but you can go to here for the more detailed  instruction : coffee cojjee plan. So we take subway back as we have learned our mistakes and we need to wake up really early as we bought our bus ride to Nami Island in the next morning....kepenatan melayan budak kecik, yang bila balik segar -bugar tak nak tidur...aiseyy..tema hari itu, lawak si budak kecik :)

Seoul Adventure Day 2

040313~part 1

We were supposed to go to Nami Island on this day, and by bus, but we didn't know that there is only ONE bus a day going to Nami Island. My thought was like, since it was not that far way, it should be 1 bus for each hour (think how you go to Melaka from KL) lol..but we were wrong, We arrived at Tapgol Park in Insadong around 10 am, and after waiting for like 15 minutes, my instinct kicks in and says that there is something wrong. Thank god, there is Tourist centre just in front of the park. And we finally get the bad news. There is only 1 bus going to Nami Island each day, and they leave around 9.20 am. So the person told us to go to the office of the bus company and buy the ticket for tomorrow if we want to...

So that's how our plan turns 360"c degrees for the day. Since we did plan to go to Bukchon Hanok Village and it was really near Insadong, we plan to just walk around Insadong and head to Bukchon later.

Since it was really early, a lot of store just open and this is the 1st shop we stop by. The guy can flirt in Malay  :p

We bought 6 boxes all together. Tergoda kot haha..the taste? Mcm kuih kacang tapi melekat di gigi

There is a lot of souvenir shops along Insadong, From what I read it was more antique stuff you could find there. We walk by Ssamziegil, but we dont have enough time to check it out.  But we manage to buy a lot of souvenir along the road from Insadong to Bukchon. From my pov, the price is a little bit expensive from Namdaemun Market, but they will usually gives a lot of free stuff if you buy a lot from them, something that never happen in Namdaemun.

I really love the colors of the pen!! Nana have so much fun picking the souvenir :), and yes, so many t-shirts, but 1 only bought one since I forgot to bring my purse :/.

our vegetarian lunch, since we could not locate the indian restaurant that we want to.

My 1st Paragliding Experience!!!

Alhamdullillah I come back in pieces, lol..

It was a crazy idea and I only bought 1 coupon from groupon, since I'm not sure whether there will anyone who will do it together with me..

Thank god, Wai Yien were ready to be part of my weird 'must do' list of things before I turn 30 years old :)

So we took KESAS, to Pelabuhan Klang and were quite OK as we had our GPS set from the coordinate given..but after some 15 mins into the kampung area, we were led to dead end road twice!! In the end, we just go with our gut to find the place and yeah, next time really need a 4 wheel drive as you will encounter unpaved road, as I guess it was for all the big trucks around there..

We arrived around 11 am..and there is already group of 6 people comes ahead of us, and so we spend like 2 hours under the tree in the middle of random place in Pulau Indah..hoho

Excited for our turn!!

Fly!!! Fly!! Fly!!

can u see me??

Flying High!!
So basically you will be flying for around 10 to 15 mins depending on the wind condition.

It was different view altogether when you were below seeing it flying up in the sky, and then be the one sitting in the seat.

Was it scary, Yes!!! When the guy told me to put my seatbelt and my helmet on, I was like that's it?? What if  this thing fall down, how I can come back alive? What if we fall into the sea, how I can save myself if there is emergency, lol..yeah, that is so many thought in my 1st 5 mins up flying in the sky..that I just hold tightly the side bar beside me while recite all the doa that I know, but after a while, you could really feel the beauty of it.

The beauty of the wind on your face, the beauty looking at the birds flying in front of you and looking at those things below and wonder that they really look so small...and for me I guess, there is never ending beauty of this earth that will make me wonder the creation of God, and for me, the feeling was serene? liberated? That to everything is so small from up the sky, I wonder should I see my problem as what I learn from today, you were not alone,That the world is so vast and full of places and hope. That at the end of the day, our problem is  so small to compare the beauty of this earth <3 ..

By the end of our 10 mins, we really thought it was so short..but I guess it was really a good experience..

Will I do it next time?? Yes!! probably I will do it at different place like the video below...woohoo..

And since we don"t really take our breakfast, so we head on to our 2nd plan of the day to Empire Mall to celebrate belated lunch for the birthday girl.. Ole-ole Bali..

Us sitting outside eventhough its so hot, with my reason I want to take pictures!! ^^

my food!!!..with banana shake..so yummy

WY choice of ayam panggang and barley lime

Yes, we finish everything since we were so hungry and one part of me was because of the price is in the group of, alang2 dah order mahal, jangan membazir, haha..but its really good..and I'm now writing this 7 hour after and still I feel so full!! we go back right after, that we don't bother to walk around the shopping mall, because we were so tired, even though it was our first time there..

So there it goes an update of one of my to do list before I turn 30 ^______^, should head up and write about my Seoul trip before my 'amnesia' kicks in :)

Sleepless and Restless

I hope I will not get amnesia to finish my Seoul entry, but seriously, I wish I have 48 hours. I wish I can just put my Note in front of me and keep writing, or just be outside taking amazing pictures..sigh.....

But lets keep going and believe tomorrow is going to be great, that tomorrow will be amazing...

^____________^

Lets keep smiling and dream all the best things that we want to achieve in life ^_^

motivation!!!!

But seriuosly, I wish my broadband is as fast as the WIFI in Seoul..could only use/write/upload everything after 12pm...sobss

Day 1 in Seoul

First of all, like I've said earlier, we plan A LOT of things, but the reality, there is also a lot of things you can't control. Especially the tiredness part after walking for whole day.Or since we were with little kid, we need to see her mood more than ours! You cant do much if she starts to cry for being hungry, tired or just wants her milk..but all and all this is very a good experience for me i guess, mana tahu nanti ada anak sendiri pulak kan ^_^

So, we arrived around 8.40 am, and after all immigration process and all, we headed to our guesthouse 1st.Thought of taking subway but since we brings quite a number of luggage, we took the airport bus. And it"s easy and cheaper, than taxi. 10,000 won to our guesthouse in Chungmuro Station (10 mins walk from Myeongdong)~ Get more info about the bus schedules from here : http://www.airport.kr

Dah sampai guesthouse, we have a little bit of drama since nobody was there in the main room that we are supposed to check in. And more so, we have a LOT of bags, and the place was not really a hotel, more like macam rumah ala2 studio apartment orang korea dan bangunan itu sebenarnya berkongsi dgn ofis dgn all other apartment unit. So memang tak kan nak letak kat depan bangunan je kan.. So we have to make a missed call and send message to the number in the email I received. Nasib baik dlm 15 minit orang yang ditunggu pun sampai. So after we leave our bag, we headed to our 1st place.

Excited!!

Myeongdong in the morning..
1st, sebab teruja, we walk to Myeongdong 1st...Nak ambil udara gamaknya. ^_^..

Haven't had our breakfast, so we just go to nearest coffee shop we could find. And we don"t really realised it"s related to Siwon until we were inside..not many fans inside the shop, but lots of fan is taking some random pictures of the banner..

Dah kenyang dan bertenaga, kami menuju ke destinasi utama, Gwanghamun Square, Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Folk Musuem.

By the way. there are so many subway station around the area, you just need to know which area you want to cover first. Best way, Google or else visit this page :http://english.visitkorea.or.kr .Its like my walking dictionary before and even when I was in Seoul.

So many people waiting to get the best shot!

Lepak dulu, mari minum banana milk ^^

cool and exciting

this is near the exit of National Folk Musuem

our room-Uno Guesthouse~ so spacious,Nana, the little girl boleh main kejar2 sendiri

We are supposed to cover Changdeokgung Palace, but yeah, we were so tired we head back to our guesthouse. Tapi kerana masih excited, kami keluar sekejap di waktu malam, Plan nak shopping di Dongdaemun, but we are lost sebab nak cari exit subway yang ada lif, so yeah, gagah la tanya org arah jalan, tapi akhirnya terpaksa pulang awal disebabkan budak kecil telah mengantuk dan mengamuk utk pulang..
trying to be creative :) sempat singgah di Cheonggyecheon Stream

You Know What We Did In Seoul ..

Opppss..Yes, tetiba, feels like the title should be funny :)

Well, what we plan for our itinerary is probably only 70% of what we really did in Seoul.

Memang tak sempat.

Itupun dah 7 malam, memang nasib tak pergi dgn tour agent..\

Memang sesuka hati tukar plan, Kalau dah penat, boleh tengok balik subway map dan ubah haluan.

Yang kelakar, nak pergi Lotte World, waktu pagi semangat..dah half day, rasa penat teramat terus cakap, tak apalah..kita ambil gambar je dekat luar..^_^, itu yang best nya buat tour sendiri..its tiring, but you will learn to adapt and really doing something because you really want it to be that way..dengan kata lebih senang puas hati sendiri ..haha

Us, one thing is taking picture but its actually nak duduk!! Penat !

Matta Fair Shopping List

Its become like a habit to go here to Matta Fair every year, not to buy anything, but just to get a little bit of idea or info of how the prices of the travel packages so far.

And funny I can guess which side of the travel agency will have their booth and even comparing their brochure every year that they made. Some have clearly put a lot of effort into their marketing. And there are couple of new travel agency too..with quite an unique name??

what's up with the name

Edit :Pengalaman juga di tahun 2010, beli tour di Matta Fair. Never believed all the things that the tour agent said. Especially about the Muslim Tour. Just because he/she is a muslim, the tour is not automatic become a Muslim Tour.Sakit hati sampai sekarang /:

Books and brochures

Hati terasa nak melawat Turkey dan Eropah..mampukah ^_^

Seoul and the Subway

For some reasons I think the 1st thing to write about Seoul is the subway...its not that complicated like the one in Japan, I think.. but at last I managed to understand the bits and pieces, how not to get lost in the subway..so here it goes.
  • Make sure you have the latest map.  This is so important. I'm not sure how much updated the subway system in Seoul, but we did compare, and it just to make sure you are stopping at nearest station to the places you intend to go.
  • Make sure you understand the map..it will take sometime, but just go with the color or in some of the map they will have a number code~whether it is Line1, Line 2 etc
  • Credit enough money in T-Money, so you don't feel embarrassed the gate did not open ^_^ (By the way the T-Money can be use in the bus and some of the taxi too-so convenient!)
  • Make sure you give way to other people to pass if you walk in a group or kind of walk a bit slow ..same as in KL, stay at the right side (if I'm not mistaken) of the escalator so other people can walk through..(although sometimes ppl in KL forgot abt this, which kind of annoying thing to me too..sobs)
  • The most important thing is~KNOW WHICH EXIT TO GO!! lol..yeah, this happen to us, unless you really know all about the subway, just make sure you know which exit to go, or else be brave enough to go 180' degrees to arrived at the place you wanted  to go..

what happens to our map at the end of our trip ^_^

i really like this escalator a lot!! teruja hehe..feels like in airport!

and quite important too, never ever sit in the subway train, in the place assigned for old/disabled/pregnant lady etc..or else be prepared to be 'sergah' by the ahjumma or ahjussi there..hehs, this was never happens to us, but yeah we get this from someone's advise and from our observations, this happens..
